WPS meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month to discuss the art and science of photography.  Most meetings will be held in the main high school lecture hall, unless otherwise noted on the club schedule.

WPS History

The Warren Photographic Society was organized in the 1930's by the name of Western Reserve Photographic Society. The club was active until the beginning of WWII when the lack of photographic materials and the military draft forced the club to disband. In the summer of 1946m the WRPS was reorganized and the name changed to the Warren Photographic Society.

The WPS is affiliated with the "Color Slide" and "Travel" divisions of the Photographic Society of America. There are six groups in PSA. Class A through F, which compete with clubs on an international level. Currently the WPS is in the top Group A.

Monthly club activities may include: interclub print and slide competitions, photo critiquing, active shooting, technical demonstrations, or international competitions with other members from PSA.

The Warren Photographic Society regular club meetings run from September through June each year. Meetings are the second and fourth Thursday at 7:00pm at Trumbull Country Career and Technical Center (TCTC) lecture hall. Please contact the club for details.
